MPEG JOIN : Hmmmmmmmm. Since my NT OS is a fat32, then it looks like Camel's Joinwon't work at all then, right? Contrary to what is claimed on thedownload site.... correct?My system is a drawer/tray setup. I have about 10gigs of downloadedMPG/MPEG's on it, and no way to transfer them to the drawer containingthe 98 OS. I was hoping I had simply missed something along the way here... perhaps in the setup. sigh........Thanks anyhow, Solly. Appreciate the feedback here. I tried Spot's method, but I couldn't get it to join andthen be able to play. I got them all "zipped" all right ( with nocompression ) but 2 major problems then arose.1.) The files did not zip in sequence ( if I recall correctly, theyloaded: #1, then #3, followed by #2, #5, and #4 ). MPEG JOIN : 2.) Changing thhe extension ( of course ! ) brought up the message thatchanging the extension would corrupt the files..... which it did. Nocould "play" them. Of course, unzipping them brought me right back towhere I started from.Do you have a URL for that thing? I hate to put you to allthe trouble of posting it up in utilities, but if you would like to dothat, I would appreciate it. Imean REALLY HUGE! One 156meg group turned out to be almost 2 gigs insize!!!! WOW ! I too use the Winzip v8.0, and found it doesn't act in asimilar fashion as previous versions. MPEG JOIN : Is anyone else having difficulties joining the ff- posts? They are intwo parts and the second parts seem to have a bug in them, thatprevents Camel's MPEG Join to join properly. It doesn't discard the"Joining" progress box, and the resulting movie has the length of thefirst one. Any ideas?Can either of you geniuses tell me why farang's file come out so dark?Camel does that every once and a while. Especially ran into this time withsome of the MaxHC's that were posted. Try going to the multimedia utilitiesnewsgroup and grabbing VcdCutter exe. I have found this joiner to be veryfriendly. There is also a crack posted in the group for it too. Some othergood utilities are Ifilm and WebFlix Pro. I use WebFlix Pro a lot for joiningFarangs great posts. Good luck from the Lazer.
