Again, this is for a VCD to play ona DVD playerIt appears to be divx- so you can't play it on a DVD player that I know of anyway.717 MB will maybe fit on a 700 MB disk- it is worth a try in test mode anyway. The other option is use a tool to split the filesomehow- there are people who know better than me on how to split a divx file. There are file splitting programs out there like'file splitter' which works well.Which is why he asked, how to convert it to mpg1 which is what you canplay in most DVD's....You won't be able to get it onto a CD if you keep to the VCD standard, as aCD will only hold 74 or 80 mins (depending on whether you have 650 or 700MBCDs)You can make a non-standard VCD from it (after overcoming the otherproblems) by reducing the bitrate, and test if your DVD player supports it.Best to try a 1min clip on a CD-RW first.
